Relocation & Restart
Smith & Gallup provides relocation and restart services for machinery, production lines and complete industrial operations. Our team coordinates the planning, rigging, disconnection, movement, reinstallation and startup activities required to move critical equipment from one location to another.
The goal is not simply to move equipment, but to restore the operation. Each project is planned around facility conditions, equipment requirements, shutdown windows and production priorities to help reduce disruption and support a controlled restart.
Planning & Strategy
- Relocation assessment and move planning
- Rigging, disconnection and reinstallation coordination
- Restart and production readiness
The process begins with a detailed review of the equipment, origin and destination sites, access conditions and operating constraints. Our team defines the sequence of work, transportation requirements and technical resources needed for a safe and coordinated move.
Execution can include equipment disconnection, rigging, transportation, positioning, mechanical and electrical reconnection, alignment and startup support. When required, Smith & Gallup continues through testing and restart activities to help bring the relocated equipment back into operating condition.
